COMPARATIVE LEGAL ANALYSIS OF THE NORMS CRIMINALIZING SEXUAL OFFENSES IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND ASIAN COUNTRIES

Abstract
The article is devoted to a comparative legal study of the norms providing for criminal responsibility forsexual crimes in the Russian Federation and some Asian countries. The features of criminal responsibilityfor this group of crimes in Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China are investigated.The author concludes that the presence of common features of criminal law protection is due to both theproximity of the cultures of Russia and Asia, and the development of all countries in the framework of globalprocesses. It is noted that the systems of crimes against sexual freedom and sexual integrity are largelysimilar. The differences relate to the degree of detail of the features of the compositions and the set ofqualifying features. The author believes that a number of qualifying features that are found in the legislationof foreign countries require study to resolve the issue of implementation in the text of the Criminal Codeof the Russian Federation. Among such circumstances are named: the commission of violent sexual crimesin an emergency or during a riot, a close relative, publicly and some others. Some unique provisions of thelegislation of some foreign countries due to cultural and religious characteristics are analyzed.
