УДК 340.1
Abstract
The article is devoted to the application of the principles of law at the stage of review of the case bythe court of second instance. The principles of law should not be accidentally subjected to special scrutinywhen they are correlated with professionals in the pre-trial stage of the case and at the stage of directjudicial proceedings with properly established public relations by law enforcement professionals. Due to theprinciples of law expressing the needs of the whole society, the evaluation of the actions of the participantsin the legal process becomes more and more objective, justified, and universally recognized. At the same time, one can not but note the fact that even the most seemingly reasonable, includingsupported by the arguments of the principles of law, the verdict of the court, can be critically rethought inthe future. In this regard, we would like to offer some practical recommendations on the use of the principlesof law in the revision of criminal and civil cases in the courts of second instance. In general, the review ofcases in the courts of second instance is an important link in the process of making a balanced and informeddecision of the legal case.
