Abstract

The digitalization of society has increased the political activity of Russian citizens, which requiresclarification of political and “digital rights.” Political fakes are one of the significant challenges of the moderninformation space. An important aspect of the fight against fakes is the development of digital culture;citizens need the skills of critical thinking, checking sources, and analyzing for manipulation. The fightagainst fakes requires not only responding to current threats, but also prevention, ensuring transparencyand reliability of information, especially in election processes.
